Joinfil, polymicroalloyed copper wire for welding metal containers

We have developed the copper wire based on the specific performance required of a copper wire for welding metal containers.

The manufacturing process of our copper wire is subject to a patent on the chemical composition required to provide a copper wire suitable for welding with better mechanical and temperature resistance properties than conventional copper wire, which gives it better dimensional stability during the welding process. A total of 20 alloying elements are used to give the material its different properties compared to conventional wire.

Our copper wire fulfills a fundamental function: to safely and hermetically weld our customers’ metallic containers for food, aerosols and cosmetic products.

ECOCOPPER copper products are made from 100% recycled material and contribute to saving resources and energy, as well as having a lower environmental impact.

Copper is one of the few materials that can be recycled indefinitely while maintaining its original quality and characteristics. Thirty-four percent of the copper produced in the world comes from recycling, and of this figure, 41% is used only in Europe.

The production process allows La Farga to apply materials technology for the packaging industry.
